In this case we will describe the process to use the iWep PRO for Iphone, Ipad or Ipod Touch.
  • IOS (Operating System 3.0 or higher).
  • You must have the device with the Jailbreake made.
  • Download from Cydia the iWep PRO (If it does not appear in Cydia you have to put for example the Iphoneame repo in Cydia = [color = # 800000] http://iphoneame.com/repo [/ color] )
This app allows us to test if our Wi-Fi networks show a minimum of security against dictionary attacks and brute force that it uses. As you can see it is very easy to use and anyone can do it so it is interesting that we secure the networks to avoid this type of intrusions.

When installing this Cydia app we will see the icon as this capture.

Click on the iWep Pro icon

Now we will click on search for Wifi networks, we will put on the one hand those that are compatible and on the other those that are not, in the image below the MAC addresses have been removed for privacy. The green points on the left indicate the range, the larger the closer the router or access point.

We would click on the network in question and depending on what it is there will be more or less combinations, in this case only 2 combinations and the first one as you can see.

Press finish and leave the password copied to the Clipboard in addition to connect to Wifi.

It is VERY important never to leave the password that COMES by default with the router for the WIFI (Even if it is the length below the router) since it is very easy to break the security and enter fully into it.

Finally I leave the supported networks for this software.
