Each season of Fortnite comes with a battle pass filled with skins you won't want to miss. While you can speed up the completion process by purchasing the upgraded version of the battle pass, players who choose the classic version will need to complete most of the weekly challenges to unlock everything the season has to offer..
The Season 5, Chapter 2 battle pass includes names like The Mandalorian, and the Weekly Challenges have been relatively easier to complete, compared to the past two seasons. The latest questline has launched recently, and Epic seems to want to experiment with a new dig mechanic that can be pretty fun.
One of these challenges requires players to dig up garden gnomes at Fort Lacrêpe and Pleasant Park, but they might be hard to notice if you don't know where to look..
Here is where you can find garden gnomes hidden in Fort Lacrêpe and Pleasant Park in season 5, Chapter 2 of Fortnite .
Where to dig up garden gnomes in Fort Lacrêpe and Pleasant Park in Fortnite Chapter 2, season 5?
Starting with Pleasant Park, you'll have to make your way through the center of the location and head to the side with the reboot van. Look at your location on the mini map, as the buried garden gnome will be just above the letters N and T in Pleasant Park. These hidden garden gnomes will glow blue, so they will be easy to spot..
The second garden gnome in Pleasant Park is hiding in the yard of a house on the north corner of the location. It can be easily found by going north of the middle of the location, and you'll be perfectly aligned with the house's placement on the map. This will be the last house in the middle before you leave the location, and you should spot a shiny dwarf by jumping all over the place.
For the last two garden gnomes, it will be necessary to access Fort Lacrêpe. If this is your first time around locating it might look like a maze, but the two garden gnomes can be found within minutes.
The first garden gnome at Fort Lacrêpe can be found in the castle next to the northern entrance to the location. It will be hidden behind a small wall, so it might not be seen as soon as you get to the north entrance.
The second garden gnome is more difficult to find. It is located in a ditch around the western corner of the castle. We recommend landing in the middle of the location and turning around to find the two garden gnomes.
Since you will be in the open while doing this, it would be better to have a few weapons to defend yourself in case of danger. The digging mechanics work differently than expected and you will not be able to interact with the buried garden gnomes by approaching them. You will have to find the bright blue spots with your harvesting tool to dig them up several times, which will only take a few seconds.
Completing this quest will grant you 20,000 battle pass XP points, moving you closer to the desired cosmetic item for a while.
