Before the long, crazy history of Fortnite skins and crazy accoutrements, and long before the partnerships between Epic Games and Disney or Warner Bros. to make outfits there were default skins..
You couldn't choose which default skin you would have in-game, as they were chosen from a bunch of default skins. But now you can choose exactly which skin you want to use, even if that means giving away a few V-Bucks.
The default skins are back - except now they're in the store and available for purchase..
The skins are available in two different sets of four skins for 2,000 V-Bucks each set, or 800 V-Bucks for one skin. The original glider, called "The OG," is also available for 500 V-Bucks.
The default pickaxe from Fortnite's debut in 2017 will also arrive in the store, but it will be available for free to anyone with the game..
There is nothing special about the look of these skins, and that's what is most interesting. In fact, many players used to despise the default skins.
Now you can actually look like an elder, even if you've just started playing the game.
