How to tell if your PS5 is playing the PS4 version of a game
Step 1
The first thing we can see is if the games we have installed on our PS5 have a PS4 version. To do this, we will go to the "Games Library" icon.

You can see about each game that the PS4 icon appears if it is a version of this console.
Step 3
If we go to a game that has both a PS4 and PS5 version, we can click on it. Then we click on the 3 drop-down points and you will see that it lets you choose the PS4 or PS5 version depending on how you are playing.

If you are interested in knowing if you are playing a specific version, we can go to the icon of the game that interests us. Now we will click on the "Options" button on the PS5 controller.

Here select the option "Game version". Here it will show you the option to choose which version you want to play with.

If you prefer to directly remove the PS4 version of a game, go back to the icon of that game and press the "Options" button on the controller. Now choose "Delete".
