Did you know that during a meeting with Cisco WebEx you can blur your background or even change it completely with your own picture or virtual background? We'll show you how it works here.

How to change the background in Webex Meetings

Note : You can only change the background in the app version of Webex. It doesn't work with the browser application.

Follow our step-by-step instructions or take a look at the quick start guide .

1st step:

Start the Webex desktop app for Windows and sign in. Now click on your name in the top left .

2nd step:

Go to " Settings " in the drop-down menu .

3rd step:

Once in the settings menu, click on " Video " and then on " Change virtual background ".

4th step:

Now you can customize your background. You can blur the background or choose an image . You also have the option of uploading your own picture as a background.

quick start Guide

1. Start the WebEx desktop app for Windows and sign in. Then click on your name .
2. Now click on " Settings ".
3. Open the " Video " settings and then click the " Change Virtual Background " option .
4. Now you can choose between a blurry background or an image . You can also use your own picture as a background.
5. Save your changes by clicking on " Apply ".
