Bing is usually the pre-installed search engine in Internet Explorer, but not always for everyone. Even with browsers such as Firefox and Google Chrome, Bing can inadvertently integrate a toolbar into the view once it has been installed. Remove search engine

1st step:

In Firefox, click on the three-line menu in the upper right corner and select " Add-Ons and Themes ".

2nd step:

Click on " Firefox Settings " in the lower left corner .

3rd step:

Click on " Search " on the left . You will now be shown all the available search engines. Select " Bing " and then " Remove ". When Bing is removed, it will no longer appear in the alphabetical list, as shown in the picture.

1st step:

Start Firefox, click the three-dash icon in the top right corner and then select " Add ons ". Alternatively, you can press the key combination [Ctrl] + [Shift] + [A] to open the add-on management .

Then go to the menu item " Extensions " on the left . To the right of " Search Engine Bing " click on the three-point symbol and then click on " Remove " in the drop-down menu .

Chrome

1st step:

Open Chrome and then click the three-dot icon in the upper right corner . Select " Settings ".

Then scroll down and then go to " Manage Search Engine ".

3rd step:

Go to the three-dot icon to the right of "Bing" and select " Remove from list ". Make sure you have a different search engine " Set as Default " beforehand . Otherwise you won't see everything.

Internet Explorer

1st step:

Start Internet Explorer and click on the gear icon in the top right corner of the start page . Select " Manage Add-ons ".

2nd step:

In the menu on the left, switch to " Search providers ". Here, go to " Bing " and then click " Remove ". Make sure to set a different search provider as the default beforehand , otherwise the " Remove " button is grayed out.
