How to log out of the Google Play Store

Note: If no user is logged into the Play Store, no apps can be downloaded. There may also be restrictions on other Google services.

Follow our step-by-step instructions or take a look at the brief instructions .

1st step:

Open the Google Play Store. Then tap your Google Account profile picture in the top right corner .

A pop-up will open. Tap the little arrow next to your Google Account. Further options open, select " Manage accounts on this device ".

3rd step:

You will now be directed to the settings of your smartphone or tablet. All linked accounts are listed here. Select your Google account here.

4th step:

Now you can select " Remove Account " below . You may have to confirm the removal. You are now signed out of the Google Play Store and the other Google services on your smartphone or tablet.

  2. Then tap on the small arrow to the right of your Google account in the pop-up.
  3. Select the " Manage accounts on this device " setting . This will take you to the settings of your Android device.
