How to log out of the Google Play Store

Note: If no user is logged into the Play Store, no apps can be downloaded. There may also be restrictions on other Google services.

1st step:

Open the Google Play Store. Then tap your Google Account profile picture in the top right corner .

2nd step:

A pop-up will open. Tap the little arrow next to your Google Account. Further options open, select " Manage accounts on this device ".

3rd step:

You will now be directed to the settings of your smartphone or tablet. All linked accounts are listed here. Select your Google account here.

4th step:

Now you can select " Remove Account " below . You may have to confirm the removal. You are now signed out of the Google Play Store and the other Google services on your smartphone or tablet.

1. Open the Play Store app and tap your profile picture in the top right corner .
2. Then tap on the small arrow to the right of your Google account in the pop-up.
3. Select the " Manage accounts on this device " setting . This will take you to the settings of your Android device.
4. Now tap on your Google account .
5. Now you need to select " Remove Account " below . You may need to confirm the removal again. This is how you will be signed out of the Google apps on your device.
