Would you like to rate a company, restaurant or service provider on Google in order to share your experience with other customers, but you don't know how to do it? No problem! In the following, we will show you how to write a Google rating.

How to write a Google review

1st step:

Open Google in your browser and start a search for the company you want to rate. Also, make sure you 're signed in with your Google account so you can write reviews.

2nd step:

Then scroll down until you come to the " Reviews " heading on the right . Then click on the " Write a review " button .

3rd step:

You can now submit your rating and then, if desired, write a text and add pictures. Make sure that the content of your review follows Google's guidelines. Then click on the " Post " button to publish your review.

Smartphone

1st step:

Open the Google Maps app on your smartphone and search for the company for which you want to leave a review. Then open the overview by tapping on the name of the company.

2nd step:

Then select the tab " Reviews ".

3rd step:

You should now see your profile picture with 5 stars next to it under " Rate ". Tap on one of the stars here to give the rating.

4th step:

A window will now open in which you can write your review and, if desired, add pictures. Make sure that the content of your review does not violate Google's guidelines. Then tap on " Post " in the upper right corner to post your review.

1. Search Google for the company you want to rate. Also, make sure you are signed in with your Google account .
2. Then scroll down and click the " Write a review " button on the right .
3. Then write your review, but make sure that the content of your review follows Google's guidelines .
4. Then click on " Post " to publish your review.

Quick start guide: smartphone

1. Search for the company you want to rate in the Google Maps app on your smartphone.
2. Then tap on the name of the company to open the overview .
3. Here you then open the " Reviews " tab .
4. Then tap on one of the stars next to your profile picture to give a rating.
5. You can then write your review and add pictures if you wish. Make sure that the content of your review does not violate Google's guidelines .
6. When you're done, tap Post in the top right to post your review.
