How many times have you cursed yourself for accidentally deleting an important contact? You will find all of your Gmail contacts in the Google Contacts application and all of your contacts will also be backed up to the linked Google account. Whatever the reason for deleting a contact, don't panic as you can get back all deleted contacts.

How to Recover Google Contacts

Once you've synced Google Contacts with your Google Account, all of your contacts will be stored in the cloud. Restoring will only work if you have already synchronized and saved your contacts before deleting them.

Smartphone app

Follow our step-by-step instructions or take a look at the brief instructions ..

1st step:

Open the Google Contacts app on your smartphone. From there, tap the burger menu in the top left .

Then select the " Settings " item on the menu .

Under " Manage contacts " tap on " Undo changes ".

You can now choose any time within the last 30 days to restore deleted contacts. If you tap on " Confirm ", your contact list will be reset to the selected time.

Confirm the dialog with " OK ". The contact list should then be reset.

  1. Open the website for Google Contacts ( https://contacts.google.com/?hl=de ). If necessary, log in there with your Google account.
