How to delete your Wattpad account

You can only delete your Wattpad account in the computer browser; this is not yet possible in the app. Before you delete the account, remember: Your data and texts will be removed and cannot be restored. Follow our step-by-step instructions or take a look at the brief instructions .

1st step:

Log into Wattpad in your browser and click on your profile name or profile picture in the top right corner . In the menu that opens, select " Settings ".

2nd step:

Scroll down a bit. Then click on the orange button " Close account " in the bottom right-hand bar .

3rd step:

You now have to briefly explain why you want to delete the account. Then check the box next to " Yes, I'm sure ".

4th step:

A field then appears in which you have to enter your password to confirm . Finally click on " Close account ". Your account will now be deleted.

1. Sign in to Wattpad in the browser . Then click your profile picture in the top right corner . A menu opens.
2. In the menu select " Settings ".
3. Now scroll down a bit and then click on the orange button " Close account " in the right bar.
4. Next, you need to provide the reason why you want to delete the account. Then check the box next to " Yes, I'm sure ".
5. You must then enter your password to confirm and click on " Close account ".
