Control Xbox by voice

Control Xbox by voice

You should know that this function has been available since the launch of Xbox One , so if you have a console older than this, it will most likely not work correctly for you, and although not all assistants have the same functionality, we will show you how you can connect them.

  1. First turn on your Xbox.
  2. Open the settings option.
  3. Enter the General section and press "Sleep or start mode".
  4. There choose the "standby mode", this will cause the console to suspend and not turn off completely.
  5. Go back to settings.
  6. Go to the devices and connections section.
  7. Choose digital assistants and flip the switch.
  8. After this download the Xbox Skill in the Alexa app.
  9. Accept the connection and automatically search for your console.

You can do this directly with the Google virtual assistant, for this you have to follow the first steps on your Xbox console to activate the digital assistants, after that you must do this in your Google Home application.

  1. Open the Google Home app.
  2. Click on add (+) and configure a new device and choose the option “works with Google”.
  3. Type Xbox in the search bar and select “Xbox”.
  4. Now link your Microsoft account and assign the consoles in rooms and voila.
