The snow has melted, the flowers are blossoming, and Epic Games is launching its first spring event in Fortnite today , March 30. The Spring Danger event will bring the Egg Launcher back while introducing new quests, new outfits, and even new designs for paper crafting..
But the event will begin in earnest on April 1, with the addition of a new character named Webster. Players will have the opportunity to complete Legendary Webster Quests and unlock the Corner Cudgels Pickaxe.
The Egg Launcher is making a comeback in Fortnite , bringing with it a new type of egg to find on the island. This new egg, once consumed, will make your character jump like a rabbit..
From April 2, Friday Night Bragging Rights will be replaced by the Spring Danger Cup, a duo competition. The duos will have three hours to complete up to 10 matches and accumulate points. The top performing pairs from each regional server will be among the first to receive the Webster Outfit and the Mechaplume Back Accessory.
Players wishing to participate must have an account level 30 or above and have enabled two-factor authentication (2FA). To activate 2FA, visit the 2FA page, sign in to your Epic account, and follow the onscreen instructions. Read the official Spring Danger Cup rules for more information..
The Item Shop will be stocked with ducks and rabbits during the Spring Danger event. New outfits, like Webster's, will be added, but some fan-favorite outfits will also be back, like Brawling Bunny, Bunny Assailant, and Duckster (formerly Pioupiou).
Fortnite and cosplay fans can also download new paper masks and origami. The masks offered are those of Stella, the Rabbit Assailant and Webster, while the origami are Chocolapin, Lièvre cruel and Pioupiou. It takes more or less time to craft these items, but it shouldn't take more than 2.5 hours each, according to Epic.
