Linking the Messenger Discord and the streaming service Twitch can have a number of advantages. For example, some Twitch streamers offer special benefits for subscribers on their Discord server. In order to take advantage of the Twitch integration, the two accounts must be linked.

How to link Twitch and Discord

1st step:

Open Discord and click the gear icon at the bottom . How to access the user settings.

2nd step:

In the settings, select " Links " from the bar on the left . You will now be shown possible services with which you can connect Discord. At the top, click the Twitch icon - it looks like a purple and white speech bubble.

3rd step:

If necessary, log into Twitch. Once you are logged in, this window will appear. With a click on " Authorize " the two accounts are linked. This can take a moment.

4th step:

Your Twitch account will now be listed under " Links ". It also lists the servers of your favorite streamers if you have joined them.

1. Open Discord and use the gear icon in the lower left to call up the user settings.
2. On the left you have to click on the category " Links ". Above you will find a list of possible account connections. From there, click on the Twitch icon - a kind of purple speech bubble.
3. A page will now automatically open in the browser. Here you have to log in with your Twitch account and then click on " Authorize " to agree to the link. After connecting, Discord is automatically synchronized with Twitch, so that you can, for example, access exclusive Discord servers of your favorite streamers.
