If you want to access the Internet with your laptop while on the move, but there is no WiFi nearby, you can set up a hotspot on your iPhone and surf with the help of mobile data. Other smartphones can also use the hotspot like a normal WLAN network without any problems.
Note: If you use your iPhone hotspot with another device, the data volume used will still be credited to your iPhone.

1st step:
Open the settings (cogwheel) on your iPhone and tap on " Personal Hotspot ". 2nd step:
Enable the hotspot by tapping the switch . Your WLAN is protected with a password. Without encryption, anyone else within range could access the Internet via your iPhone. To do this, tap on " WLAN password " to set your own password. 4th step:

- Open the iPhone settings and tap on " Personal Hotspot ".
- Activate the hotspot using the switch .
- Your WLAN hotspot is protected with a password, otherwise anyone within range could access the Internet via your smartphone. To set your own password, tap on " WLAN Password ".
- You can then use the hotspot via WLAN, Bluetooth or USB. On other devices, your hotspot appears in the WLAN under the name of your iPhone.
