Would you like to cancel your Amazon Prime membership? Then just follow our step-by-step instructions!

You can easily part with your Amazon Prime membership online with just a few clicks. In the following we explain how to proceed and what to look out for when canceling.

Note: You cannot suspend your Prime membership immediately. Since Amazon always debits an annual fee, you cannot end Prime until the next billing period. Until then, you can of course continue to use the advantages of Amazon Prime despite cancellation. Make sure that you cancel no later than 14 days before the start of the next billing cycle..

Cancel Amazon Prime - here's how

1st step:

First , log in to Amazon with your login details . Then go to " My Account " with the mouse in the upper right corner . A drop-down menu then appears from which you can select " My Prime Membership " with one click.

2nd step:

Navigate to the " Managing Your Prime Membership " section on the right . Then first click on " Update and cancel " and then select the option " End membership - forego benefits ".

3rd step:

You will now be redirected to a page where Amazon asks you if you really want to end your Prime membership. If so, click on " I'm giving up my Prime Benefits " here.

4th step

It is possible that Amazon will inform you again about an alternative subscription model. In this step too, click on " End membership". You can also choose to be reminded to cancel or change your subscription three days before your next payment by clicking on " Remind me later ".

5th step:

Finally, you have to confirm your cancellation one more time. To do this, click on the button with the date of the actual termination date . You can continue to use Amazon Prime as usual until this day.
