Amazon Prime Video offers a large selection of series and films. A permanent internet connection is not absolutely necessary for viewing in the app. Amazon offers offline use of the videos on suitable devices. These include Fire Tablets and the Fire Phone, as well as Android and iOS-based tablets and smartphones. We will show you how you can comfortably use the offline function.

To watch a movie or series offline, you need to download it in the app . Follow our step-by-step instructions or take a look at the brief instructions ..

1st step:

Open the Amazon Prime Video app. Select a film or series there and open the overview for it. Then select " Download " or the "down arrow " symbol. For series, you can also download complete seasons.

2nd step:

Whether you're downloading a movie or a series, the download process is the same. If the memory of your device has been expanded with an SD card, you now have to decide: Do you want to use the " internal memory " or the "use SD card ".

3rd step:

You can then choose the download quality . So select one of the options displayed and then tap on " Start Download ".

4th step:

The title you selected will now be downloaded .

5th step:

When the download is finished, you can call it up via the " My Area " menu at the bottom right in the " Downloads " tab . If you tap on " Edit " here , you can delete your downloads again .

6th step:

To do this , simply mark the content you want and then select " Delete " below .

1st step:

Open the Amazon Video app . Select a movie or series that you want to download. Tap here on " Download " or, in the case of series, next to the individual episodes on the downward-pointing arrow . You can also download entire seasons of series from the overview at the top.

2nd step:

You will then find your downloaded titles under " Downloads ".

1. Open your Amazon Video app . Make sure that your device is connected to WiFi so that no data volume is used during the download.
2. Find the series or movie that you want to download.
3. Select " Download " in the detailed overview . In the case of series, the download arrow must be selected next to each episode . Can not download while watching the movie or series.
4. If your storage medium has a memory expansion using an SD card, you must now select whether you want to use the " internal storage space " or the "use SD card ".
5. Then select the download options . Here you can determine the quality in which the episode or film should be downloaded. When you've chosen an option, tap Start Download .

4. When the video file is downloaded successfully , you can use it offline as you wish. To do this, simply go to the " Downloads " option below .
