You can redeem vouchers from Amazon in different ways. We'll explain exactly how it's done here..

If you have an Amazon voucher, there are two simple ways in which you can redeem it. You can transfer the balance to your Amazon account and save it for a future purchase, or you can enter your gift card information into the payment method during a purchase.

Top up Amazon credit with a voucher

If you are afraid of losing your gift card, you can transfer the balance directly to your Amazon account and then use it for your next purchase.

1st step:

In the Amazon app, tap on the symbol with the man at the bottom of the screen. Then select the " My Account " category .

2nd step:

Now tap under " Account settings " on " Manage gift voucher credit ".

3rd step:

Then select the point " Redeem another gift voucher ".

4th step:

You can now enter the code on the back of your voucher in the text field. Then tap " Credit to Your Account ". The advantage of the Amazon app is that instead of using " Scan your card " you can simply scan the voucher with your smartphone so that you do not have to enter the code. The credit of the voucher will then be credited to your Amazon account and can be used by you.

On the Amazon website, move your mouse pointer to the " Accounts and Lists " button and then click on the " My gift voucher balance " entry in the menu that appears .

2nd step:

Then click on " Redeem gift voucher ".

3rd step:

Then enter the voucher code, which is on the back of your voucher, in the field provided and click on " credit your account ".

Add the items you want to your shopping cart and then tap the corresponding icon in the Amazon app at the bottom of the screen to open your shopping cart . Here you then go to " Proceed to checkout ".

2nd step:

Then tap through the order process until you reach the point " Select payment method ". Here you can enter the code on the back of your voucher under " Voucher and Promotion Codes " and " Redeem ".

3rd step:

You can also enter the voucher code in the corresponding field when checking your order in the " Payment data" area. Here you can also scan the voucher with your smartphone by tapping the camera symbol instead of entering the code yourself.
