Gmail is a popular free email service provided by Google. When you sign up for a Gmail account, you can use all Google services like Gmail, Maps, YouTube, Google Drive, etc. Your Gmail account is also your Google account, with which you manage all Google services.

How to create a Gmail account

1st step:

Go to the Google website in your browser: https://accounts.google.com/signin . Then click on the button " Create account " and select the option " For myself ".

2nd step:

Now enter your name and choose a suitable username . This will later be your Google email address. Then set a secure password and then click " Next ". Now it is checked whether the username you have selected is already taken. If so, choose a new name for your Google Account.

3rd step:

Now you can optionally enter your mobile phone number. Google uses your mobile phone number to protect your account. You can also provide an account recovery email address here . This is required if you cannot log into your Google account. This is also optional, but recommended. Then enter your date of birth and your gender and click on " Next ".

4th step:

Accept the terms of use and data protection declaration and then click on " Create account ". You will then be redirected to your Gmail inbox. Your Gmail account has now been set up.
