The e-mail provider web.de enables its customers to set up a spam filter for the mailbox in order to protect them from annoying spam and advertising e-mails. This article explains how to set up the spam filter for your e-mail account with just a few clicks.

Open your web.de mailbox and click on " Settings " in the navigation bar on the left .

In the navigation bar scroll down to the menu item " Spam and virus protection ".

3rd step:

Activate the " Activate spam protection " checkbox . In the lower section you can also choose between 2-way and 3-way spam protection. The latter adds an "Unknown" folder to your mailbox, in which the spam emails then end up

In the Security section , under Settings , click Block List .

Now enter the e-mail addresses that you want to mark as spam and click on " Save ". E-mails from these senders are then automatically recognized as spam and moved to the spam folder. The emails will then no longer appear in your inbox.
