It is very important to identify the keywords with the content of the Web. The word or key phrases must be related to the page to which it is intended to address.
For example: if motorcycle parts are sold, the keywords "motorcycle parts" must be placed in the Web address; www.motosymas.com/repuestosdemotos.php , that is, they should not be inserted in the homepage, but in the one that corresponds to the aforementioned content.

For its part Google identifies the combination of keywords with the content of the page as you can see in the following image:

Google shows the most important keywords and their possible variants when you crawl the site.
Once reviewed the site and the keywords entered in the search box, Google proceeds to show the URLs that are indexed to the search engine database.

Each keyword will reflect how often it appears on the pages of the site.

In the event that Google has not been able to crawl and index all pages of the company's website, a query can be made on " tracking error pages ", or a sitemap can also be sent to ensure that Google tracks all the pages of the site in question.
To create a sitemap you must enter here:

Google recommends using sitemap that use sitemaps protocols, in this way the same file can be sent to other search engines such as Bing and Yahoo.

Other formats supported by Google are:
RSS, mRSS and Atom 1.0 where you can send the feed URL as if it were a sitemap.
You can also generate a text file that contains a URL in each line, for example:

http://www.example.com/archive1.html
http://www.example.com/archivo2.html

It is important to generate the full URLs for better results, because Google tracks the address as it is indicated.
In addition, it must be taken into account that sitemap can provide detailed information about the contents of the site, such as videos, images, mobile phones, news and software source code.

For example:

General URL
  • xmlns = " http: //www.sitemaps....as/sitemap/0.9"
Images
  • xmlns: image = " http: //www.google.co...emap-image/1.1"
Video
  • xmlns: video = " http: //www.google.co...emap-video/1.1"
Mobile phones
  • xmlns: mobile = " http: //www.google.co...map-mobile/1.0"
News
  • xmlns: news = " http: //www.google.co...p-news/0.9". However, Google recommends creating separate sitemaps for news content. These sitemaps will be crawled very frequently to search for new articles.
Some of the information provided in this tutorial was partially extracted from the official Google site.
