The limit of the videos that can be uploaded to Instagram stories is 15 seconds , but there is an easy way to upload longer videos if we divide them.
Instagram has a function that automatically divides the videos you want to upload. There are two ways to do this : starting when you record the video, or finishing uploading the video from your gallery, although this second method does not always work.
1- While recording the story . If we record a story from the application in the normal way, the application splits the clip after 15 seconds. To do this, enter Instagram and click on the button to record stories, top left. We simply keep the record video button.
By default, the button will be filled as the 15 seconds of standard time that the stories have. The application will automatically jump to a second video when you go over the 15 seconds of the first one. In this way, you can continue recording and Instagram automatically divides the video so that we only have to deal with what we recorded. When we finish the recording, Instagram will show you all the fragments of the video that you have recorded, and you can edit each one individually. When everything is ready, simply click Next and finish the publishing process.
2- When we upload the video from the gallery . In this case it does not happen on all mobile phones. The first thing we have to do is click on the button to record stories that we have at the top left. Now we must press the gallery icon, and look for the video that we want to upload, and that would be it, since Instagram will automatically divide the video when the 15-second limit is exceeded.
