Error "not registered in the network" in Samsung

Your device displays the error message "not registered in the network" but receives a signal, you should verify certain things.

  1. Check if the device shows any T-Mobile signal bar. If not, use Troubleshoot signal / no service instead.
  2. If you bring a phone from another provider to T-Mobile, you must unlock it before you can use it. Check Unblock your phone .
  3. Update the computer software to the latest version . You can do it through Wi-Fi if you do not have service. Visit the Devices page to know the current versions and the steps to follow.
  4. Restore the APN of the device.

  5. Turn off the phone.
