Do you have a Linux computer in continuous operation? Then it is worthwhile, occasionally the command

uptime

enter. It tells you how long the computer has been online. This provides information about any unnoticed crashes in the event of a power failure or that a root colleague may have restarted the computer.

It is also a great sight if uptime reports that the computer has been running continuously for 60 days ;-).

Of course, for enterprise servers, you should only run the server with one uninterruptible power supply.
