- You've trained your "for you" perfectly, to the point that you're part of TikTok niches that you're pretty sure you'll never find if you lose your account. - You read Cyberwar regularly (already, thank you), you don't have a TikTok account, but you are passionate about two-factor authentication. No need to convince yourself to protect your accounts, but maybe we can suggest that you create a TiktTok account?
WHY USE TWO-FACTOR AUTHENTICATION ON YOUR TIKTOK ACCOUNT?
Double authentication is simply to request an additional code when logging into the account. Thus, even if a malicious person obtains your credentials, they will not be able to connect, because they will not have the code of the two-factor authentication.
Who could come after your TikTok account? Well, some thugs use hacked accounts to spread scams , most often related to video games or cryptocurrencies. The more subscribers the account has, the more interesting it will be. But more generally, double authentication will protect you a little more against all indiscreet people.
HOW TO ACTIVATE TWO-FACTOR AUTHENTICATION ON TIKTOK (IN PICTURES)
At the bottom left of your screen, click on "Me", then on the three dots at the top right.

Then, select "security": a menu will open, click on "2-step verification", you can choose between double authentication by SMS or by email.
TikTok has a pretty straightforward menu.
Click on the option of your choice, then enter the 6-digit code sent by SMS or email depending on the option chosen. And There you go ! Two-factor authentication is enabled.

Unlike the majority of services, TikTok does not generate code to use in case you do not have your means of two-factor authentication. We therefore advise you to use double authentication by email, and to protect this email by double authentication.
