There are three ways to find out the serial number of your Apple MacBook.
- In macOS
- On the case of your MacBook
- Via your iCloud account
In macOS
In macOS there is a eighth het serial number from jouw Apple MacBook:

On the case
Does your MacBook stop starting? Then you can find the serial number on the case. On the bottom of your MacBook is the word * serial * followed by a combination of letters and numbers. This is the serial number of your Apple MacBook.
Via iCloud
Has your Apple MacBook been stolen or lost? Then you can find the serial number in your iCloud account. Go to the Apple website below and log in with your Apple ID. In the window that appears you will find your connected devices under the heading Devices . Click on your MacBook and the serial number will appear in the pop-up window.
