If you need to reinstall your TeamSpeak 3 client or want to restore your entire system, you can save your TeamSpeak settings to a local file. This creates an .ini file that you can later easily open again using the import function in TeamSpeak. With this configuration file you can take over your rights on all TeamSpeak 3 servers. You can of course also use the file to share your identity on several computers. You can find out how to export your TeamSpeak settings in this article.

How to export your TeamSpeak settings

Follow our step-by-step instructions or take a look at the quick start guide .

1st step:

Start the Teamspeak 3 client and go to " Tools " and then to " Identities ".

2nd step:

Select the identity you want here. In most cases this is the " standard " identity. Make a right click on the identity and then select " Export ".

Read the warning, then click Yes to continue.

4th step:

Choose a location for your export file. Then confirm your selection by clicking on " Save ". You have now successfully exported your Teamspeak settings.

Quick start Guide:

  1. Start TeamSpeak 3 on your computer and go to " Tools " and then to " Identities ".
  2. Choose your identity. Usually this is named " Standard ". Right- click the identity, then choose Export .
  3. Read the warning and confirm with " Yes ".
  4. Select the desired storage location for the export file and click on " Save ". Your TeamSpeak configurations are now saved in the .ini file .
