Do you not only manage your appointments via the calendar app on your iPhone, but also record the appointments on your computer via Outlook? Then we will show you here how you can combine the Outlook calendar with your iPhone. To do this, we use Apple's iCloud in our instructions to be able to easily synchronize the two calendars. All you need is the iCloud software on your computer to be able to export your local Outlook calendar and synchronize it with the iCloud and your iPhone.

How to sync your iPhone with Outlook

In our following post we will explain how you can synchronize the two calendars. Follow our step-by-step instructions or take a look at the quick start guide ..

1st step:

Download and install the iCloud software . Then open the program and enter your Apple ID and your user password . Then click on " Login ".

2nd step:

Check the box to the left of Mail, Contacts, Calendars, and Tasks - With Outlook and click Apply .

3rd step:

iCloud now synchronizes the calendar in the background. When the configuration is complete, you will be informed about it with a dialog box. Click " Done " to confirm .

4th step:

To check the successful synchronization under iOS, open the calendar app on your iPhone. The test date was successfully created in our instructions.

Note: Please note that you always have to start iCloud on your computer first so that the synchronization can run in the background. After you have successfully configured iCloud on your computer for the first time, you do not need to make any further settings, you just start the program. Newly entered appointments from your iPhone are always synchronized in the background when iCloud is started .

quick start Guide

  1. Open iCloud and enter your Apple ID and password . Then click on " Register ".
  2. Check the box to the left of Mail, Contacts, Calendars and Tasks - With Outlook and click Apply .
  3. When the configuration is complete, click " Done ". Your calendar entries can now be found in your calendar app on your iPhone and have been successfully synchronized.
