For a better overview, it is worthwhile to create groups in Steam. These can be groups for the Steam community in which you can share contributions and game experiences with other members. Quick start: Create a group in the community
- At the top of the Steam client, click your profile name (to the right of " Community ") and select " Groups ".
- Select " Create group ... " in the menu on the left at the bottom .
- Now you have to enter details about the group, such as the group name, an abbreviation and the link. With a click on " Create " you can create the new group. Click on " Create " again to confirm the creation.
Quick guide: Create a group chat
- In the Steam Client, click on " Friends & Chats " in the lower right corner to open the friends list.
- Then go to the speech bubble symbol with the plus in the " Group chats " area to create a new group conversation.
- Enter some details about the group chat, such as the screen name and invitations to other users, then click Create Chat .
