Skype can be used conveniently as a messenger or for video telephony. But to be able to communicate with someone in one way or another, you must first add them as a contact. In the following we explain how you can do this very easily.
Add contacts in Skype

1st step:
Open Skype and log in. Then click on " Contacts " in the menu bar at the top left . Here you have to click on " + Contact " to add a new contact. 2nd step:
Now you can search for a user in one of the following ways: Skype name, phone number, email address, or by full name. 3rd step:
Once you have discovered the relevant user, click on the " Add " button to the right of the name. Incidentally, Skype also highlights people here with whom you have already been in contact. The person in question will now be added to your contact list. In order for the contact to actually be fully valued, it must also accept your contact request. - Sign in to Skype. Then click on the " Contacts " tab in the menu area at the top left .
- There you have to select " + Contact ".
- In the new window you can search for the contact and send him a contact request by clicking on " Add ". To search for a contact, you need one of the following identifiers: Skype name, phone number, email address, or full name.
- The requested contact is then already displayed in your contact list, but you have to wait until the relevant contact has accepted your contact request in order to be considered a full-fledged contact. For example, some people may only receive messages from contacts, depending on their settings.
