Sometimes a change of scenery is necessary - also in the browser. Of course, when you move from Safari to another browser, you'll want to take your bookmarks with you too. We'll show you how to export these in the following tipps + tricks article.

Export Safari bookmarks as an HTML file

1st step:

Open Safari and click on the " File " menu item . Then select " Export Bookmarks ".

2nd step:

Here you can set further details, such as the file name and storage location. As a rule, your bookmarks are saved as "Safari-Bookmarks.html" on your desktop. With a click on " Save " your bookmarks will be saved. You can now easily import this .html file into another browser.
