With iOS 13, the memojis and animojis were introduced on the iPhone. Unfortunately, these Apple-made animated characters are not available on Android smartphones. But with a trick you can also use Memojis on your Android device.

How to create memojis on an Android smartphone

In order to be able to use Memojis on your Android device, you must first create them on an iPhone and then send them to your Android using WhatsApp. So ask someone with an iPhone whether you can use it to create and send a Memoji. Follow our step-by-step instructions or take a look at the brief instructions .

1st step:

Open the standard keyboard on the iPhone, for example by tapping a text field in an app. Then go to the smiley at the bottom left of the keyboard .

2nd step:

If you then swipe right , you will see the memojis. From there, tap on " Continue ".

3rd step:

You can then create and customize your Memoji . If you are satisfied, tap on " Done " in the upper right corner .

4th step:

Now send all Memojis to yourself in WhatsApp.

5th step:

Now take your own Android smartphone and open WhatsApp. There, press and hold a Memoji to start the selection.

6th step:

Then select all memojis and then tap on the star in the top right corner to mark the memojis.

7th step:

You can then find them in the favorites of the WhatsApp stickers . To do this, simply tap the icon to the left of the text field to open the stickers. Here you just have to select the star above and find your Memojis, which you can now also send via your Android device.

2. Next, create your Memoji and then tap " Done " in the top right corner .
3. Now send all Memojis to yourself via WhatsApp.
4. Then switch to your Android smartphone and use it to open WhatsApp.
5. Hold down a Memoji there until it is selected. Then select all the memojis and then tap the star in the top right corner .
6. You have now favored the Memojis and can find them on the WhatsApp stickers. To do this, tap the icon on the left next to the text field and then select the star at the bottom .
