You can quickly copy messages in WhatsApp and paste them anywhere you want. We show how it's done..

Have you received an interesting or important message on WhatsApp? You can simply copy it and then forward it to other people or paste it into any text field and edit it further. In contrast to forwarding, Messenger does not show copied messages that it is a copied message.

How to copy WhatsApp messages

1st step:

In WhatsApp, open the chat you want to copy the message to and press and hold it until it is highlighted. Then tap the copy icon in the top right corner . If this symbol does not appear, tap on the three dots in the upper right corner and then on " Copy ".

2nd step:

You will then receive a notification that the message has been copied.

3rd step:

Now you can go to any text field and use " Paste " to paste the copied message.

iPhone

1st step:

Open a chat in WhatsApp and press and hold the message you want to copy. Then select " Copy " in the menu that appears .

2nd step:

You can then use " Paste " to paste the copied message into any text field.

1. In WhatsApp, press and hold the message you want to copy until it is highlighted.
2. Then tap the icon for copying in the upper right corner .
3. A notification will appear that the message has been copied.
4. With " Paste " you can now paste the copied message into a text field.
