1st step:

Open Excel and insert the companies whose share prices you want to query. You can use the company name , the fund name or the ticker symbol for this. Enter only one name per cell.

2nd step:

Select the cells you have created and create a table under " Insert " and " Table " in order to simplify the export of the data later. Querying the share prices also works without a table.

3rd step:

Now highlight the table or the stock names you created and switch to the " Data " tab and then click on " Stocks " to convert the text to the "Stocks" data type.

4th step:

If you have done everything correctly, the names you entered will now be displayed as share names and a share symbol will be placed in front of each company.

5th step:
