You can deactivate the touchpad of your Windows laptop using a key combination. Most laptop manufacturers include an " Fn " function key on the keyboard. Press this key at the same time as the corresponding [F] key , which contains a touchpad symbol with a line through it. This symbol is often found on the [F5] or [F6] keys .
