1st step:

Open the Instagram website via your browser and enter your login data there. Then click on " Register ".

2nd step:

After logging in, click either on the profile icon at the top right or on your profile photo + profile name on the right.

3rd step:

This will take you to your profile page . Here click on " Edit profile ".

4th step:

Scroll down this menu further. On the left click on " Deactivate my account for the time being ".

5th step:

Before you can suspend your account, you must select a reason for deactivation . To do this, click on the arrow on the right under " Why do you want to deactivate your account " and several options will appear.

6th step:

You will then need to enter your password to confirm . Click on " Temporarily Deactivate Account " and the process will be completed by logging out of your account . The account is now suspended until the next time you log in.
