The Samsung Galaxy S10 has a 3400 mAh battery that is nothing special ; However, the battery life is quite decent and the device should be able to spend a day of moderate use.
Unfortunately, several users have claimed that the battery life of their new Galaxy S10 is not up to scratch and the battery runs out too fast.
Possible solutions:
- Uninstall any third - party phone administrators or cleaning applications. Most of these third-party applications run in the background and deplete the device's battery instead of helping to save battery power.
- Check the usage statistics of the battery. This would help reveal any application that behaves in an unusual way and is depleting the device's battery.
- Go to Settings> Caring for the device> Battery> Using the battery .
- Check if any application is responsible for using more battery than usual.
- If you see an application that is out of the normal range, simply uninstall it by going to Settings> Applications> Select the responsible application> Uninstall .
- You can also try restarting the device. Press and hold the power key and then hit Restart .
- Turn off the lift option to activate the screen.
- Go to Settings> Advanced features> Movements and gestures> Deactivate Lift to wake up .
- If nothing seems to work, only then consider performing a factory reset .
- Go to Settings> General Administration> Reset> Factory data reset .
- Scroll down, and find and hit the Reset button .
- Enter your security password / PIN .
- [Optional] Make sure you have created a copy of security of all important data, since the entire device will be as out of the box. Your photos and videos can also be deleted, so be careful.
- Click on the Delete all button .
