We currently use our smartphones to perform lots of tasks. There are many elements that appear on the main screen such as the icons through which you can access the phone applications, the icon that shows the battery percentage or the name of the operator of our terminal..

That there are so many elements at times can be annoying, since sometimes we like to have a cleaner view of the main screen of our device and some of them are perfectly expendable, as is the case of the name of the operator since it does not give us any relevant information and serves only as advertising.

That is why on this occasion TechnoWikis will explain how to remove or return the name of the operator on the screen of your Huawei Mate 10 phone. To do so you will have to perform the following steps:

Step 1

We will observe that the name of the operator appears in this case in the upper left corner of the screen when we unlock the terminal.

Enter the "Settings" menu from the main screen of your Huawei Mate 10 by pressing the icon represented by a cogwheel..

Step 2

Once inside, all the options in “Settings” will appear. Swipe down until you reach “Applications and notifications” and click here.

Step 3

At the bottom of the "Applications and notifications" menu, the option "Notifications and status bar" appears where the operator's name is located. Click here to access.

Step 4

Once inside and inside "Status Bar" we find the option "Show operator name". Slide the tab to the left to deactivate the option and to activate it again you will have to perform the previous steps again and in this case slide the tab to the right.

Step 5

Done. The operator's name will no longer appear on your phone screen when you unlock it.

It's that simple to hide or show the operator's name on the screen of your Huawei Mate 10
