Create a table of contents in an interactive PDF

Next, the table of contents will be created on the page that is destined for that purpose. In the example, it will be placed on page 2. As a first step, it is convenient to create a style for the table of contents that can be used in other opportunities. For that you go to the Layout menu> table of contents styles.

Subsequently, the following dialog box will appear:

Then the new button will be clicked:

As a first step you must assign a TDC style and a title. Then the style that you want to apply is determined, for example: Basic paragraph style and it is added by clicking on the add button.

Then click on OK to terminate the creation of the style.

Now it's time to create a table of contents. For that you have to go to the Layout menu> Table of contents:

The paragraph style created above is included. Then click on OK and click on the sheet:

The table of contents is set up as shown below:

You can see how the Table of Contents with its corresponding page number has been formed.
If you export the document as PFD and then open it, you can check how the Table of Contents has been linked to each page of the document.

It is recalled that a TOK allows the content of a book, a magazine or another type of publication to be included so that readers can find the information quickly. A document can include several tables of content.
