If this is the first time that a campaign is carried out in Google Adwords, the following considerations should be taken into account.

When the first ad is written, it is necessary to select the keywords that it will have, that is, the words that the potential client is thought to use when looking for information related to the products and services that are commercialized.

The characteristics of the target customer can be helpful in developing the list of keywords.
You can also consider the phrases they use in online searches, the Web sites they visit, the geographical location they have, among other guidelines.
It is important that before starting the campaign it is clear that the objective public will be directed and what is the amount of money that will be allocated as an investment.

To create a campaign, follow the steps below and also define the campaign according to the profile of the target audience and select the daily budget to invest

  • Click on where it says; "Create your first campaign"
  • Select campaign settings; how much will be paid, which will include the ad and the location where you want them to appear.
  • Then click on save and continue

From the moment that the configuration was saved, it will be redirected to the page to create ad and keywords.
It is common for new advertisers to start the campaign with the previous Adwords system based on text ads as explained below. To create a text-based ad keep in mind:
  • Highlight the characteristics that can make the business unique, product service, in front of competitors.
  • Mention the areas for which the business will be useful with respect to the competition.
  • Include prices, exclusive offers and other promotions, that are seen by potential customers.
  • Make clear what you can buy, use phrases like; "Call today." "Place an order", among others.
  • Include at least one of the keywords defined above, for example; Suppose you include the keyword digital cameras in the title of the ad, such as "Buy digital cameras," and a customer searches for digital cameras . The ad title will appear in bold, such as "Buy digital cameras ."
  • Relate the announcement with the Landing page. Analyze if the content of the ad is included in the landing page since the visitors of the page when not finding what was announced are likely to leave and not re-enter.

Create 3 or 4 ads for each group of ads and try different messages to see their impact.

After having reviewed these considerations for text ads. Click where it says create an ad and select the text ad option. Enter the title, description, a URL that is usually from the same site and the URL of the Landing page.

In the keyword section, enter a list that contains between 10 and 20 keywords.
Click on the option to save and continue with billing.

In this way the first text campaign in Google Adwords has been created
