PowerPoint
is one of the applications that make up the Microsoft Office package.
Its purpose is the creation of presentations that allow information to be communicated in a visual and attractive way.
It is widely used in business, teaching, academic, marketing, among other uses.
Using it is extremely simple and practical thanks to its friendly interface, typical of Microsoft products, providing high quality results.
It also allows you to customize the presentation to the last detail.
In other tutorials you will be mentioning in detail each of the elements that can work in your environment.
Starting PowerPoint can be done in two simple ways:
From the start button that presents the Windows operating systems, located in the lower left corner of the screen, click on it and go to the "all programs" option and search for the group of elements that is called "Microsoft Office".
In there you should be able to see the icon of the application where you will click on it to start the program.
It must be borne in mind that the graphical part shown below as its location may vary according to the computer and its installation.
Another way to run the program is by double clicking directly on its icon that is placed on the system desktop by default when the installation of the Microsoft Office package has been completed.
It may happen that the icon does not appear on the desktop, in any case you must create a direct access to the program, or click on the right button of the mouse on the icon that appears in the start menu
>
all the programs and select the option of
"Send to desktop as direct access"
:
These are the two most common ways to start PowerPoint.
Once the program has started, if you want to close it, you have to click on the close button of the application that is in the upper right part of the program and that is presented in the form of a cross:
Another option is to press the key combination ALT + F4 in this way the active window of that moment will be closing (the active PowerPoint window must be active).
Finally, if you click on the Office button the program will appear with the option to exit PowerPoint.
The PowerPoint templates
These are templates or commonly called templates that already have a specific format, usually presented in the form of calendars, letters, sales reports, among others.
The plantiÃllas can be found in three ways:
Those installed in the same program
Those that are available on the PowerPoint Web page (free download)
Those created by each particular user
With respect to the opening of an existing file you can make the following options:
Go to the Office button and select the option to open.
Once inside the dialog box select the place where the file is saved.
Mark or select the file and click on the open button.
