You can customize the messages to send when you receive a phone call. We explain how to do it.
It is not always possible to answer a call. Whether it is because we are already in communication or because we are busy, Apple then offers its users to send a message to the person trying to reach us. If there are several prerecorded responses, they can be modified and personalized. In this way, you can send an appropriate message to your contact with a simple gesture to explain why you cannot reply immediately. A feature that makes it easier for you to send an explanation without having to go through iMessage. Everything can be done when you receive the call.
To modify the default responses, you will have to go to your smartphone's settings, then to "Telephone" and finally, "Reply by message". Note that only three standard responses are possible. You will therefore have to choose which message you want to record and send when you are not available to answer a call.
Once on this page, all you have to do is press one of the three lines and type in the answers you want to record. Please note that the answers are limited to a few signs. So think of short messages.
The next time you receive an unanswerable call, tap the Message bubble instead of rejecting it. You will be able to choose from the saved proposals which one to send to your caller.
