Introduced at the WWDC entry conference, the new major iOS update has since revealed many of its secrets. For a few days now, the public beta version of iOS 13 has been available, allowing users to discover the new features of the iPhone and iPod Touch operating system.
There are many new features in iOS 13. Among these, we can notably cite the dark mode, the keyboard swipe, the appearance of new animojis. But the new operating system also brings changes to the level of digital shortcuts.
Indeed, with iOS 13, Apple replaces double taps and long press in favor of other digital gestures. A change that could disturb some users, but don't worry, we explain the digital shortcuts introduced with iOS 13.
- Copy: once the text is selected, you will need to pinch the screen with three fingers
- Paste: spread three fingers on the screen
- Cut: pinch the screen with three fingers twice in a row
- Cancel: swipe three fingers to the left
- Redo: swipe three fingers to the right
- Bring up all the options: tap with three fingers on the screen
Gestures which, at first glance, seem impractical and which should take a little time to be adopted by the users. Fortunately for those who prefer to use the tooltip, it will always appear on the screen when a word or text is selected.
