Do you always use the keyboard numeric keypad while you work? Then make sure that it is always turned on automatically when you start KDE.

Press [Alt-F2] and enter  kcontrol  . In the Control Center, click Connected Devices and Keyboard. Then only one more click on switch on under number block lock at KDE start and the numeric keypad is always ready in the future.
