Recalibrate the home button

Calibrating the home button is not an official Apple solution for home button problems, but the method probably helped for some iPhone users and the home button worked perfectly again afterwards. So it's worth a try:

1. Open any app on your smartphone.
2. Hold down the power button on the right-hand side until the window for turning off the iPhone appears.
3. Do not switch off the iPhone , but keep the home button pressed until the app reappears and closes. If you are lucky, the home button is now set correctly again.

Replace the home button with AssistiveTouch

If the calibration was unsuccessful and you don't want to spend money on repairing the Home Button, you can use AssistiveTouch. This is a virtual power button that appears on the iPhone display.

Open the settings of your iPhone and tap first on " General " and then on " Accessibility ".

2nd step:

Now tap on " AssistiveTouch " in the operating help .

3rd step:

Activate AssistiveTouch using the switch. A virtual home button will appear on your display.
