In the following we explain how you can translate a PDF file into any language..

When you've found a PDF that you need in another language, you can have it translated. The translation is of course not always perfect, but we were able to achieve good results with Google's Translate. You can find out how to upload and translate the PDF there in the following.

Translate PDF files with Google Translate

Follow our step-by-step instructions , the quick start guide or the explanatory video .

1st step:

Open translate.google.com and choose Documents . You can set the source language to " recognize language " and you can change the target language as you wish. For our example document, we want to have the PDF translated from German to English.

2nd step:

Click on "Search my computer " and open the PDF file for which you need a translation.

3rd step:

The document will now be displayed to you. Then click on " Translate " to display the translation from Google. The result is of course not 100% perfect, but in our example the result from German to English and vice versa works surprisingly well.

4th step:

A new page opens with the translated PDF. You can easily copy and paste the text into a Word document. In Word, you can then export the text file to a PDF again.

quick start Guide

1. Open Google Translate .
2. Select " Document " and then the source and target language.
3. Then click on "Browse my computer " and select the file to be translated .
4. The file or PDF is displayed to you. With a click on " Translate " the document will be translated into the target language by Google.
