The AutoFill function for passwords integrated in Safari makes it easy to log into websites without having to enter the login data manually. We explain how you can view and edit the saved passwords on your Mac and iPhone in Safari.

Follow our step-by-step instructions or take a look at the brief instructions .

1st step:

Open Safari on your Mac and select the top of the menu bar " Safari " and including " Settings ". Alternatively, you can also press the [⌘] + [,] keys .

2nd step:

In the settings, select the " Passwords " tab . You can now either use Touch ID or enter your user password in the field provided.

3rd step:

You can now see your saved usernames and passwords. Highlight the website for which you want to see the password. If you want to change a password, double-click on the entry or click on " Details " below .

Now enter the new password next to " Password " and click on " Done ".

If you would like to delete an entry completely, mark it and click on " Remove ".

Open the settings and scroll down to the entry " Passwords and Accounts " and tap on it.

Now you will be asked for your iPhone code . Enter this as usual so that the passwords are displayed.

Here you can now see your saved accounts. If you want to view or edit an entry, just tap on it.
