No matter what phone you buy, the first time you use a phone, the first thing to do before starting it is to put the SIM card. And although this step is very simple, sometimes it can get more complicated than it should. With this tutorial, we will teach you how to put a SIM card in your Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite phone.

Step 1
In order to perform this procedure, the first thing you should keep in mind is that you need 3 elements that you will need to be able to place the SIM card in your phone, the elements to which I refer you are:
- your Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite phone,
- the small original key also known as skewer or pinchito
- of course you can not miss the Nano SIM card
Note
As an important note you must remember that before performing this procedure your phone must remain off, and thus avoid any problems.
Step 2
Now that you have these three elements you must insert the key or the skewer into the small hole that is located on the left side of your Xiaomi phone.
Step 3
You will notice that when you insert the small key you can remove the small tray where the SIM card is placed. It is not necessary to insert the key completely, it is only the end.
Step 4
Now you will proceed to place the Nano SIM card in the small space that is in the slot you just removed, you can also see what Nano SIM has written. In this step it is important that you place the SIM card in the correct way. Otherwise, the card will not work.
Step 5
Once you place the Sim card in the tray, you must insert the tray with the SIM card back into the Terminal, this will be done by inserting the small tray through the slot on the left side of the phone. When you insert the tray into the phone you will hear a small click, this means that the tray was placed correctly.
Note
In case you want to insert another Nano SIM card in your Xiaomi phone, you can do it by following the same steps. This time you will place the second Nano SIM card in the other empty space of the tray, right next to the first SIM card you placed.
