I do not know if it has happened to you and if you are fanatical of the editor I saw of linux, I personally consider it a macabre devil's work, I have never gotten used to it, since I have use of linux reason, I have tried to change it, that if , gedit, nano , up to emacs (in honor of Richard Stallman) whatever it is not to use vi.

Well, one of my worst moments came when I tried to use the crontab, there was no way, I always saw it, thank goodness that today I managed to change the editor, just export the environment variable EDITOR indicating that we want the editor nano, for example:
export EDITOR = »nano»

It's not that the nano editor is a big deal, but it makes a world compared to the vi editor.
