Today the number of notifications we receive on our mobile phones is increasing. Whether for the issue of applications , services, calls, messages or notifications, usually most of the time our phone is always active..

That is why many users opt for the option to put the phone in silence so that it is not continuously ringing and can be annoying on different occasions such as work, for example.

However, on many occasions despite the fact that we put our phone in silence, the vibrator is still activated so that the mobile is not completely silent since this vibration emits a small sound especially if it is supported for example somewhere. That is why we explain below how you can disable vibration when iPhone Xs or iPhone Xs Max is silent and does not emit any type of sound..

Step 1

Enter the "Settings" menu by pressing the gear icon from the main screen on iPhone.

Step 3

In this new screen you will be able to different options within “Sounds and vibrations”. We will see that an option that says "Vibration in silence" appears at the top. This is the option that we must enable if we want our iPhone not to vibrate when we activate the silent mode. To do this we must move the tab to the left.

If you change your mind and want your phone to vibrate despite the active silence mode, all you have to do is repeat the above steps and slide the tab in this case to the right. If we see that this tab has been marked in green, the vibration will have been activated again.

In this simple way we can leave our phone completely silent without the vibrator being activated in silent mode..
