Step 1

First of all we have to go to the "settings" of the phone located on the main screen.

Now we will see several menu options. In this case we have to select the "System" tab

Now let's see different options. We have to enter the one that says “Backup and restoration”

Let's see different sections. We go to "Google Backup" and select "Google Account" to choose which email address we want this backup to be stored in.

On the next screen we have to press the "Account" option. In the pop-up window you have to choose the account you want to be chosen to store the backup of your Huawei P20 Pro. In case it is not, you can add it by clicking on “Add account”

Now we have to go back from the screen and in the Google backup section, we have to select “Data backup”.

Finally we have to make sure that the backup tab is active in blue, so that the backup is done.
